The Journal of Health Sciences and Epidemiology (JHSE) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published online by rrz-scientific publishing. The JHSE publishes scientific articles in the field of health and epidemiology.
The Journal of Health Sciences and Epidemiology (JHSE) publishes articles on a diverse array of topics within the field of health sciences. These include, but are not limited to, epidemiology of infectious and non-communicable diseases, health policy, health promotion, disease control, public health interventions, environmental health, and social and behavioral factors that affect health.
JHSE accepts articles from researchers, academics, health practitioners, and graduate students in health and epidemiology. Each article is subjected to a rigorous review process prior to publication. This review process is conducted by experts in the field of health and epidemiology with the objective of ensuring the quality, accuracy, and relevance of published articles.
The objective of JHSE is to serve as a valuable resource for health practitioners, researchers, and students engaged in the study of health and epidemiology. Additionally, the journal is designed to facilitate the advancement of knowledge and understanding of the factors influencing health and epidemiology, while also enhancing the quality of health services within the community.
Current Issue
The articles included are contributed by authors from Indonesia and Malaysia (2 countries). The issue is introduced by an editorial that highlights the importance of innovative approaches to addressing youth smoking. This issue's articles address family health, socio-economics, and spirituality. Discussing family support in pediatric cancer, the impact of socio-economics on toddlers' nutrition, positive affirmations for diabetes patients, and the value of parental involvement and media in supporting children with autism, and examines the role of spiritual care in intensive care units as a means of enhancing patient well-being. A review article looks at how tobacco tax policy affects health financing. It covers health, socio-economic factors, health education, and cross-country policies, mainly related to health and well-being. It also looks at food security and good nutrition, as well as global policies like tobacco tax.
